a walk to remember

A few days ago, I came across the trailer of 'a walk to remember'. It is a 2002 romance film starring Mandy Moore and Shane West. This story is based on the book with the same title by Nicholas Sparks. Since the trailer looked interesting, i decided to read the book. Once i started, I couldnt put it down. It is the most touching story I've ever read. I was crying n crying like I never had b4 (over a book dat is). I just thankful no one saw me as I read it while everyone else was asleep (yes, it was @ night if u have 2 ask, i'm not goin 2 giv up this habit soon) Anyway, the inspiration for A Walk to Remember was Nicholas Sparks' sister, Danielle Sparks Lewis, who died of cancer in 2000. In a speech he gave after her death in Berlin, the author admits that "In many ways, Jamie Sullivan was my younger sister". The plot was inspired by her life; Danielle met a man who wanted to marry her, "even when he knew she was sick, even when he knew that she might not make it". Both the book and movie are dedicated to Danielle Sparks Lewis.

So if you are looking for a good read, this will be a good book. Just read it with a box of tissue @ your side & in the privacy of your room

Finally, after all d studying n brain bashing, PMR is over i can finally breathe. Now i can do whatever i want... for example, watch until i puke...lolx..

Anyway, i had an amazing holiday in Philippines. If u haven't been there, u simply must try. The view in Tagaytay is simply breathtaking, u can see the volcano from up there.

well, there's nothing much goin on at d moment. really boring actually, considering how i'm running out of books 2 read. lolxx...any suggestions?? I absolutely love ROMANTIC ones.... english ones obvsly... hahaha... well..dats all 4 nw..TTYL

Hello ppl..its nt exactly my 1st blog bt i sure hope its my last. i cant go on remembering all my diff blogs.. geez. basically just doing this 4 fun. am also seriously doubting anyone will read this tho..lol..

There's nth much 2 say bout me. I'm just a normal gurl trying 2 get through high school w/out messing up. I'm usually glued 2 a book wherever i go.. it's one thing ppl nvr really understand...well, unless of course u're a bookworm 2..lolxx.but dont get me wrong, i totally love chatting w/ my frens n hanging out n stuff. ask anyone. i'm a fun loving person..sometimes even goin a tad bit over the top..hehe...(no harm in havin 2 much fun every once in a while..rite?? : p)

Besides reading, i love music & dancing (not that i could do both w/out looking like a fool, but hey, nobody's perfect). I also love shopping--or may b window shopping as i'm not really d type 2 splurge..unless of course i really really really want it..haha

Last of all, I absolutely, positively CANNOT live w/out my diary. which is not surprising as i've always got lots of 'crap' 2 write about. especially stuff i could never tell anyone...which is interestingly a LOT!! so who ever's hoping i'll publish my diary one day can keep on wishing..coz i'm never in a million years letting anyone read my dairy. altho on 2nd thought i may publish a so called 'diary' loosely based on mine...hahaha...its am option...tho i really doubt i have d patience 2 do dat... i've already gt so much 2 write..hehe...Dats all 4 nw..TTYL
