I'm still tearing up as I type this.... Just now, I saw a clip on Oprah that really made me cry. In a show featuring Miracle Children and their Stories, Oprah shared the incredible story of Eliot Mooney, the precious baby son of Matt and Ginny Mooney of Arkansas and the 99 days of life they treasured with him. Eliot was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 before he was born. Trisomay 18 affects all systems of the body and causes distinct facial features. Most infants do not live to see their first birthday. I am touched by the strength Eliots parents display in their determination to enjoy the time they have with Eliot. Celebrating each day he lives with pictures to preserve the memories they have together when the inevitable happens.

Watching this really reminds me of how fortunate i am. My heart goes out to this family.
